The self-produced songwriter’s jazz-tinged brand of soul is infused with infectious melodies and grooves while her provocative lyrics deliver much food for thought. She has played concerts throughout North America, Australia, England, France, Germany & Oman & has been a guest vocalist with the KW Symphony & Hamilton Philharmonic.
In addition to being a performer, NehRita has been a music educator for 20 years, teaching both privately as well as in workshop/masterclass format in high schools & libraries. Highlights include being a guest teacher at Wilfrid Laurier University & Seneca at York as well as being a speaker at The University of Guelph’s “Thinking Spaces” series. She is also a TED KitchenerEDx speaker and regularly gives keynote address for organizations.
